WordPress will Bury Your Blog If you don’t Post

I have notice if i don’t post daily On WordPress.com i loose a substantial amount of hits if my blog is not active. As soon as i start posting something new all of my old post begin to get noticed and are searched more often. I guess it makes sense but is the secret of blogging on WordPress is to simply keep posting? Hard to say because depending on what you write about will it ever get popular.

I also noticed that even if you just make shit up that is close to the truth people go looking for it even if its not true. For instance my wife wrote article about “Will Smith Being Gay” years ago and its one of the most viewed post on my blog.

But even that article starts to loose steam On WordPress.com when i don’t post. But once i do..bam my search results pick up and my stats is back up. Weird
